NOW OPEN: UNIQLO IN ROCKWELL

I am a big fan of Uniqlo. I am a minimalist so I don’t own a lot of clothes but most of the clothes I own are from Uniqlo. I love how they have a lot of basic pieces that are of good quality. They are easy to mix and match, too. I am no longer one of those guys who take forever in front of the closet, thanks to Uniqlo.

Last night, I attended the opening of Uniqlo in Rockwell.

There was a fashion show that featured pieces from the brand’s fall/winter collection for babies and kids, and I enjoyed it so much. The kid models were so adorable on the catwalk, and they brought out the stage parent in me. Sadako is a fierce poser but she’s not really a walker. I need to bring out my inner Miss Jay and give her some lessons because I’d love to see her werq it on the runway while she is still a kid and height doesn’t matter yet.

After the show, I dashed to the store on the second floor and checked out the stuff, especially the extended kids line because I really wanted to shop for Sadako.

I saw these really cute polka-dotted Easy Legging Pants. They come in red, gray, and black. Little girls can never go wrong with polka-dots.

I also saw these Cut & Sewn Skirts at P790 each. They come in solid colors like pink, blue, and gray, plus they also come in plaids. Very school-girly. Best of all, they have an adjustable waist.

Perfect for the cold December nights are these Micro Fleece Printed High Neck Long-sleeve T-shirts at P590 each. They come in girly colors like purple and pink, and cool designs like polka-dots, stripes, and hearts.

Uniqlo also has these Striped Crew Neck Long-sleeve T-shirts at P590 each for those simbang gabi moments or family holiday dinners.

For boys, there is a Disney line of shirts, and Peanuts Sweat Parka Long-sleeves at P990 each.

There are Soft Touch T-shirts made of light, warm fabric, and Easy Short Pants at P590 each.

Uniqlo has a lot of unisex stuff.

These Striped Crew Neck Long-sleeve T-shirts at P590 are good for anyone, anywhere.

Same goes for these Denim Long-sleeve Shirts at P790 each. They have a washed look, plus really awesome plaid details on the sleeve linings. Another thing I love about them is that they have large buttons so kids have an easier time buttoning their own shirts.

What I think every parent should buy from Uniqlo this season are their Printed Fleece Full Zip Jackets at P590 each. Your little ones will surely keep warm and look very stylish at the same time. Perfect for all those Christmas parties.

Lots of choices for your little ones, right?

Despite this, I ended up being a bad, selfish dad. I didn’t buy anything for Sadako but purcahsed four tops for my self. I already have these tops but I love them so much I just needed to buy extras.
