I discovered toasted siopao just late last year, and I instantly fell in love with it. It’s nothing like siopao, actually. It’s more of pandesal or monay (or some other bread – I am bad with bread; all I know is Tasty!) with spiced ground meat filling a la siopao.

Just like with most bread kinds, it’s best eaten when it’s fresh out of the oven, when the dough is chewy and the filling is hot.

It kinda broke my taste buds’ heart when a branch opened near our village – a week before we were about to move.

So imagine the unparalleled joy I felt when I discovered that our Coop in GMA 7 has boxes and boxes of toasted siopao by TatyStar Bakery.

Love it.
