I BRAVED THE MEGAMALL SALE FOR SOME JOLLIBEE CRISPY WINGS—AND IT WAS WORTH IT

The crazy 3-day Megamall sale kickstarted last Friday, and I seriously didn’t want to be anywhere near that mall. I heard Robinsons Galleria was having a sale, too, so that meant traffic was extra horrible in that area. And since my office is in Strata 100, I didn’t want to go to work.

But I had to.

I even had an event inside Megamall. It was to introduce Jollibee’s Crispy Wings Hour to bloggers and online editors. Jollibee’s new promo treats all dining customers in 120 participating stores nationwide free samples of their Crispy Wings, from 3pm to 4pm every Friday the whole month of October.

The one last Friday was extra special because we had the talented Kapuso tween star Kristoffer Martin suddenly dancing the hit song "Good Time" together with crew members, and then serving everyone the Crispy Wings. Other celebs joined in on the fun, too: Alden Richards surprised diners at Jollibee TriNoma while Rodjun Cruz danced and served chicken at Jollibee Laguna.

You still have one Friday left to experience Crispy Wings for free (this October 26), but don’t worry because even after this promo, Jollibee’s latest snack will still be available. And you’ll definitely be thankful for that piece of news because they’re very addicting, especially with the sweet chili sauce.

You can order the two-piece Jollibee Crispy Wings with regular fries or rice for only P70 and add an extra P10 to get a regular-sized softdrink. You can also order the 6-piece Jollibee Crispy Wings Pack for only P170, or get the 12-piece Jollibee Crispy Wings Bucket at P340, and share the delightfully crispy treat with family, friends, or officemates.

Then again, you can also have the whole bucket all for yourself.

I’ll try that one of these days.

And oh, I got to consume three Crispy Wings, an order of fries, a glass of pineapple juice, plus a cup of Milo Blast. And even take home a 12-piece bucket.

So yeah, the crowd, the traffic, and the sale chaos were all worth it.
