E! will always remind me of my teenage years, back when I used to watch E! shows on channel 31. Now that was a long time ago but I do remember seeing Greg Kinnear on The Soup, admiring Hollywood celebs on the red carpet, and getting freaked out by those creepy Hollywood true stories.

E! shows never really disappeared; you can actually still watch them on cable channels like Velvet. But if you can’t get enough of them, the good news is that E! Entertainment Television is now in the country—as in there is now the Philippines E! channel featuring shows like Live From the Red Carpet, Fashion Police, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Khloe & Lamar, and more.

I attended the press con awhile ago and it was nice to meet Dominic Lau, one of the hosts of E! News Asia—showing on E! Entertainment Television, of course. He was such a chatterbox, and he’s easy on the eyes, too, but I have to admit that I’ve never ever heard of the guy. But I have to give it to him; he did a great job hosting the event, together with the pretty Georgina Wilson. He’s supposedly the Asian Ryan Seacrest. Let me tune in to his show and be the judge of that.

Before leaving the press con, I heard that he’s a former Channel [V] VJ pala. He made me miss all the other VJ’s before him, from both MTV and Channel [V]. I wonder where Rahul Khanna, Jamie Aditya, The Casem siblings, Trey Farley, Asha, and the rest of the guys are now.

Hmmm. Time to do some Googling.

And tuning in to E!, too, of course.
