I admit that I’ve been wanting Sadako to grow up faster because I can’t wait to see her crawl—walk even, talk, and just run around being her cute self. But one time I was staring at her, appreciating her cuteness, I realized how precious she was that moment, and that she’ll never be like that again: flat on her back or tummy, giggling and just blowing mouth-bubbles, flailing her arms and legs coz she wants to crawl and run around but can’t, as opposed to running all over the place while screaming her tonsils out, crayons and toys and food flying everywhere, when she’s a couple of years older.

So please, Sadako, slow-mo. Don’t grow up too fast.
