Some people need lots of rest and sleep to get well when they’re sick. Others take in an extra tablet of multivitamins or vitamin C to feel better and possibly prevent a full-blown fever. Me, I just need to see certain people.

Yesterday at work, I was very sick. I had a fever and a headache, I was starving (I didn’t eat the whole day) and I felt like fainting. I even started to have cold sweat. Despite feeling really rotten, I thankfully got to the mall where I was meeting Honeybun and Anika.

First thing we did was eat. We had some Japanese food and I swear that miso soup never tasted so good. Thanks to the grub (and a hug from Honeybun), I instantly felt a little better. However, it was when I saw my BFF, when I think I completely got well. It’s been a while since we last saw each other so even if we had just a quick chat over ice cream, it was more than enough to make me feel better.

Before long it was time to go home. I hit the sheets the moment I arrived and when I woke up, it was time to go to work again.
