October kept the writer in me busy and now that it’s November, the fruits of my labor are available at your favorite bookstores and magazine stands.

The hottest men’s style mag in the country is now out with their second ish. Garage has hottie Akihiro Sato on their cover and inside, I wrote two pieces for the ish: a primer on Parkour here in the Philippines and an essay on bromance.

I also wrote the cover story for this month’s issue of Metro magazine. For the feature, I got to interview 10 outstanding ladies: celebs Nikki Gil and Maja Salvador, student Jessica Wilson, events planner Amanda Lapus, preschool teacher Patty Laurel, DJ/TV hosts Andi Manzano and Grace Lee, university teacher Alexi Alunan and Unilever execs Gutzee Carmona-Segura and Jem Perez.

I spent a whole day getting to know the girls and I immensely enjoyed listening to their very interesting stories: one shared a long list of eye-popping dares that left me with an open mouth, another proudly told me about her accomplishments, and another had this really inspiring sniff story.

I am also part of the first issue of 100 magazine, a business and lifestyle title from October 80, the very promising publishing company that also produces Playground, Flow and Bounce. For the debut issue I wrote three features: one on upscale department store Adora, one on restaurateur Marvin Agustin, and one on fashion designer Puey Quinones.
