HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DOODS!








The best great grand-uncle in the world celebrated his 78th birthday last Tuesday and my lovely and generous aunt treated the family to some Chinese food at Hap Chan.





While the grub was great, what we ordered was the regular stuff: pork siomai, lemon chicken, soup and some pork and fish dishes. I remember eating at a Hap Chan in Sucat, I think, and what my buddy Konrad ordered for the group was really amazing. Unfortunately, I don't recall the names or the descriptions of the dishes - all I know is that they were delish. Gotta go back and research, or maybe just ask him.




I also had a very strong milked tea, which was sweet and rich and very fulfilling. It was so good it made me stay up all night.
